Can you use azelaic acid and niacinamide together?
Yes — they work well together
Yes. Both suit redness-prone and blemish-prone skin and work well together.
Why
Azelaic acid helps with spots, redness and dark marks, while niacinamide supports the barrier and evens tone. Neither interferes with the other.
How to use them
- Azelaic acid first, then niacinamide or a moisturiser that contains it.
- Azelaic acid can tingle for the first few weeks. Niacinamide is generally calming, but cut back if your skin feels sore.
